How You Can Help

Let's Get Everyone Connected

The rescue world is a big family of like-minded people with the same objective: to save lives. If you’re looking to volunteer, adopt, or donate money to a rescue or shelter in your area, check out these wonderful groups.

Show up

01. Volunteer

Many rescues and shelters rely on volunteers to help them manage their day-to-day operations. This could include feeding, cleaning runs and/or crates, walking dogs, or just socializing the animals by spending some quality time with them.

Take In

02. Become A Foster

You can help dogs get out of shelter environments by opening your home to one…or maybe a whole litter of puppies. Many rescues provide all the materials you’ll need, including food. You just need to provide the love and some basic training.

Take Action

03. Adopt

Some people are under the impression that shelter dogs aren’t as “good” as dogs from breeders. We’re here to tell you that there are a lot of really great dogs out there just waiting for their chance to shine. Plus, adopting is generally a lot less expensive.

Give Back

04. Make A Donation

If you don’t have the time to volunteer, if opening your house to an animal isn’t an option or even feasible if you rent, and you can’t make a lifelong commitment to adopting just yet, you can still help by making a donation to a local shelter. Every bit helps.

Run With Us!

Are you a rescue or shelter that’s interested in joining our pack? We invite all animal rescues and shelters (not just dog people) to send us your contact information and we’ll list it here. There is no cost to you, and you’ll be included in random drawings to receive a donation from us and be featured as a “Spotlight Shelter” on our blog. Enter “N/A” for any fields you don’t wish to include in your listing.
